PMR - Professional Analog Mobile Radio

Professional Mobile Radio (PMR) is the acronym describing private radio communication products and systems which make use of portable, vehicular and fixed devices. Their standards are controlled by ETSI (European Telecommunication Standard Institute), the European body in charge.
